SAINT BARNABAS ARTS CAMP IS NOW FULL

Volunteer to Help

Saint Barnabas Arts Camp is an opportunity for kids ages 3 through those entering 6th grade to explore the world of fine arts and creativity with Saint Barnabas where all are welcome. Gently faith-based, this one-week camp is filled with fun and engaging activities focusing on the creative process. Through our theme of Interstellar All Together, we will explore outer space as we embrace unity in the midst of diversity. Each camper will experience visual and performing arts as well as food science every morning.

CAMP HOURS

Camp sessions are scheduled June 19-23 or June 26-30 with activities from 8:30-11:30am. Please choose one week only. Snack and t-shirt are included. Camper drop-off is between 8:15 and 8:30am and pick-up is at 11:30am each day.

Saint Barnabas Sports, an extended-day option organized by Saint Barnabas staff and volunteers, is an add-on that will end at 4pm. Extended-day campers will need to pack a lunch.

AGE GROUPS

Seedlings is a self-contained group that meets in the Children’s Center next to the playground. Seedlings are 3 and 4 year olds and must be potty trained.

Campers entering kindergarten and beyond in fall 2023 participate in the main camp, which includes a daily lesson and small groups engaging in workshops related to food science, visual arts and crafts, and performing arts such as drama, singing, and dance.

Junior Counselors (grades 7-10) need to submit an application and complete a Zoom interview. Junior Counselors (JCs) will participate in a training program prior to camp. Applications for JC positions are now closed. For more information on the JC program or to inquire for next year, contact Sarah Petersen.
