Missions & Ministries Festival
Sunday, October 30
Sunday, October 30 at 11:30am | at Saint Barnabas
Join us for homemade fry bread from the women at Millet House (one of our mission partners), healthy tacos and salads at our Build-Your-Own Taco Bar, carnival games and prizes for children of all ages and so much more! Wear your comfy picnic clothes and stop by the many booths staffed with parishioners ready to inform you about our missions and ministries.
Did you know? There are 43 different ways to serve at Saint Barnabas! Following our 10:15am service come to the patio to learn about one or two, or all of them! Come and visit with our Missions and Ministry leaders and teams and find out how you can serve our neighbors in many different ways. From Lay Readers to Choir, from Pastoral Care to Finance, there are many places for you to contribute your talents to Saint Barnabas. Did you know that we partner with 11 different Missions, where we serve our neighbors? October 30 at 11:30 am is the time and the grounds are the place to make the discoveries of how you can become involved. And, there will be games for kids and lunch for all.
The Festival is also where you can sign up to share your talents as a chef for our Chili Festival and sign up to bring nut-free cookies for our “Joy = Eat Dessert First” dessert festival on Gratitude Sunday, November 20. AND, a couple of our Missions are inviting you to bring needed items. Bring a friend and some donations too! Here is a list of items that our missions partners need (scroll down):
